To expensive, and since I left the 2 star review I have now moved it to 1 star. The meat department has went way down hill. The cuts are horrible the chicken selection is slim to none most days I go in. They don't do the precut patties anymore. And the hash is no where near what it once was. Used to be the only place I bought my meat. Will be shopping somewhere else. Even if it means driving out of the way to get the meat I need.
When Marion Carnell and Joe Skinner ran Piggly Wiggly it was a great grocery store. That is not the case now. I was in there July 8, 2017 and I was sweating it was so hot. When is the last time you went in a grocery store and sweat?
Buy the meats on sale same with deli buy chicken on sale. Everything else is way overpriced poor quality. Delis prices are ridiculous. Think owners trying to shut this place down stupid decisions.
Piggly Wiggly in Ware Shoals was very clean and neat. The cashier was very nice and polite. I really enjoyed shopping there.
Can't believe that he store wasn't full as usual for this time of the month. I like Piggly Wiggly because almost always, I can make one trip and get enough meats on sale for a whole month. Like today, beef , chicken and pork was all on sale at the same time this week. Cheese and lots of dairy products, produce as well. Until next month. I guess.
